Malcolm has a diverse background in business, education,
and social organizations. He has served as chairman of the Oakland Civil
Services Commission, a director of the Bay Area Urban League, president
of the Alameda County Industry Education Council, and a successful business
owner.
He has B.A and M.A. degrees in Philosophy, and was a student
of renowned Stanford professor of Philosophy, Dr. John Goheen. He continues
his education by developing workshops to change the dysfunctional behavior
that causes individuals to think of themselves as victims.
He is the author of the highly acclaimed books The New
African American Man and Let There Be Life. His most recent
book, Seeds from the Ashes, reflects his latest ideas on self-reliance
